PPF Protection Film (PPF) is widely used on Superyachts to protect delicate and high-value surfaces such as marble, Corian, Onix, stainless steel in galleys, hatches, carbon tables and glossy painted panels. The transparent film protects against scratches, stains and dayly wear while maintaining the original appearance of the material.
Modern PPF films are hydrophobic, self-healing and resistant to chemical attack.
The surface repels water and dirt, minorl scratches regenerate with heat, and the film protects the underlyng material from cleaning chemicals and daily use.
PPF es especially usefull in high-traffic areas where surfaces can easily be damaged during daily operations. Unlike repainting or refinishing, the film is removable and preserves the original finish while providing long-term protection.
